The End of TimesSelect?

The New York Post (by way of Matt Drudge in my case) tells us that the New York Times is about to go back to a free-service format. If true, it's about time. As RK in New York once reminded me, TimeSelect only served to teach us that life could go on without Paul Krugman. (RK is a Republican.)
